RCS Logistics was founded in 1985 by Patrick Heaney as H&M International Airfreight. Based in New York, H&M operated as an international freight forwarder and local trucking company.

In 1994, H&M merged with another highly successful airfreight forwarding company in Hong Kong owned by Philip Liu, who became the Managing Director of Asia, to create RCS Logistics. Patrick Heaney became CEO of the newly merged company. In 2004, Brian Heaney was promoted to President of RCS.

RCS Logistics has expanded its global presence significantly through strategic acquisitions and strategic growth and now includes company-owned offices in the United States, Singapore, Philippines, China, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands as well as affiliate locations in more than 80 countries worldwide.

Today, RCS Logistics (RCS) is a $250 million privately held company headquartered in Springfield Gardens, New York (JFK) and Hong Kong (HKG).

RCS services a broad customer base including import retailers and wholesalers that specialize in apparel, footwear, accessories, telecommunications and electronics.
