KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the cost of any building project - from initial estimates, right through to the acquisition of materials and closing of project
- Perform, manage and report project activity scheduling and monitoring on programme, milestone progress
- Understand and monitor project scope, assist in other technical departments
- Excellent understanding of quality, assist in document control
- Undertake cost analysis and planning for new construction, repair and maintenance project work
- Support to prepare financial and technical proposal with resources and schedule
- Assist to prepare tender and contract documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other details regarding quantities of required materials
- Provide analysis on contractual claims, value completed work and arrange payments
- Be resident at construction site or conduct regular site visits, assessments and projections for future work.
- Interact with clients, other project personnel, contractors and sub-contractors
REQUIREMENT
- Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural, Mathematics, Construction Science or related field
- Having minimum of 2 - 3 years of Cost Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Project Controls or similar successful positions in building projects in Cambodia
- Having experience and knowledge on the national and international building best practices
- Detailed knowledge of building and construction technology, processes, materials, business and legal matters
- Possess good level English language skills in reading, speaking, writing and listening
- Having excellent computer skills (Advanced MS Excel, MS Access, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
- Have experience using programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc.; other BIM knowledge and experience is a plus factor
- Working to deadlines and ensuring that all departments of the organisation are following the standard procedures with regards to Time, Cost, Scope and Quality
- An investigative, practical and logical mind, methodical way of thinking and attention to details
- Must be honest, committed, responsible, willing to work hard, self-motivated, confident and be able to work as a team member.
